The Story of This Site
WedgeWoods is in a privileged position. A terraced mountain valley with north-south orientation, the property enjoys bright sunlight all year round. Of the 600 acres that make up the WedgeWoods site, a full 350 acres are protected wilderness forest. Access to famous trails, the Green River, and incredible ski touring opportunities at nearby Wedge Mountain enmesh this place closely with wilderness adventure. Best of all, WedgeWoods is surrounded by vast swathes of Crown Land and Garibaldi Provincial Park, so this place will never lose its silence and seclusion.
We have planned every acre of WedgeWoods carefully, from day one. Home sites follow the natural terraced topography of the land – no blasting has been used to level these sites. Each home site has been carefully mapped out, ensuring that vistas, orientation to the river, and access are preserved. The forest here has been well protected, with generous no-cut zones and ample envelopes between each home. The infrastructure has been built to intrude as little as possible. WedgeWoods is a rare mountain wilderness.
